Lord Sastha is traditionally seen with His feet pressed on the floor in a yoga style. In this temple, He is on a platform (peetam) with His right leg bent and the left toe pressed on the floor. He holds a club on the right hand wearing a necklace and the holy thread on the chest. His curled hair is well dressed. Sastha in such a design is not anywhere in India. | | |
