People of this place follow the practice of seeking the permission of Kaliamman to begin any activity. They will prepare two packs of flowers, one with a white and the other red in colour. It will be placed at the feet of the mother and the priest would return one after pujas. If they get the white, it indicates Her permission. In other places, it is vice versa. On Fridays, the crowd would be huge to seek this permission. | | |
