Lord Aatkondanathar is a swayambumurthi. Lord Muruga appears on His peacock vahan in the prakara. His consorts also appear on their respective peacock vahans individually, a totally different form in this temple. Generally Lord Muruga and His consorts grace the devotees together on a single peacock vahan. | | |
