Infant children are given the first rice feeding known as Annaprasanam in the temple. They bring the child to the temple and feed in front of him so that the child would grow with the blessings of the lord and become great in life.
Pushkarani: There are 83 spring holes in Pushkarani holy spring. There are also 12 wells. The water is green in colour as it contains an acid. Scientists had confirmed the acid content. Bathing in this water cures fever, headache etc. | | |
