Sri Anjaneya in the temple is five feet long in a reclining form gracing the devotees in the middle of Palaru. He is a swayambumurthi. Not as a sub-deity in the prakara of the temple, He is the presiding deity of the temple. He is facing Lanka. The temple is situated in the foot hills of Govinda hills and Thadakachi hills where Sage Viswamitra performed penance. Lord Vinayaka graces with two faces. | |
