Here, Lord is sitting on the lap of Adhiseshan with His Consorts Sridevi and Boodevi whereas in other temples, He will be on the Sleeping posture. This temple is more than 300 years old. This temple is treated as an Abhimana Sthalam and those who are ill and in the last stage of their life, can come and pray for attaining the Lotus feet of the Lord without any struggle, by taking the "perumal theertham" (holy water of the Lord). The samprokshanam of this temple was performed on 23rd May, 2010. This temple is under the control of the HR&CE Dept., of Government of Tamil Nadu.

A very oldest, 300 years old Vaishnavite temple in the midst of 4 other vaishnavite temples -- Kancheepuram, Thirupparkadal, Sholinghur and Pallikonda. There are108 divya desas of which the last 106 and 107 are known as Thirupparkadal and Paramapadam. We are lucky to have these two shektras close to each other in Vellore District.

The relatives or well wishers of those who are in the dying stage or suffering with long ailment, can come and pray to this Lord for their relief or to attain Moksha without pain on regularly taking the abhisheka theertham of the Lord (Holy water). The Anjanayar (Siria Thiruvadi) situate outside the temple is a "Varaprasadhi".

Since this temple is considered as an Abhimana Sthalam and the Lord Paramapadhanadhar never give money or material welfare. Those who are sick and in the last stage of their life pray this Almighty sincerley, He will take them to His feet without any pain or further sufferings.
தலபெருமை:
Brahma did penance before this Lord. That is why this village is called Thisaimuganseri (T.Seri in short). but this village is now known as Seri Iyyenpettai. A 300 years old vaishnavite temple with the Lord sitting on the lap of Adhiseshan with His consorts Sridevi and Boodevi with His right leg folded and kept on the bed of Adiseshan.

இருப்பிடம் : Bus transport available from Chennai, Kancheepuram. This temple is situated on the Kaveripakkam-Sholinghur Route in Vellore district. One has to get down at Kaveripakkam Bus stand located on the Chennai - Bangalore National Highway. From there local bus transport is available at every 45 minutes. Also share autos are plying. The temple is 107 kilometers from Chennai and 7 6 kilometer from Kaveripakkam.

From Chennai, trains going towards Bangalore will pass through the station known as Baanavaram railway station (also known as Sholinghur railway station). One has to get down at the Banavaram station and take a bus or auto to reach the temple.
